An Afternoon with Nobel Laureate Derek Walcott

A Reading & Commentary by distinguished poet and playwright Derek Walcott will be followed by a short Q&A, and book signing. From 4:00-4:30p.m. steel drum performance by Cecil George, Musical Dir. Trin-Can Steel Orchestra.

Derek Walcott won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1992, and the citation stated, "for a poetic oeuvre of great luminosity, sustained by a historical vision, the outcome of a multicultural commitment."
